Kay & I took a leap of faith & started chasing our dream of exploring the world, starting with Athens, Greece. After years of considering what life abroad could be like, we decided in November of 2024 to start preparing for this life-changing journey across the world & landed in Europe on January 9th.

Our send-off gathering at The Trade Hotel in Milwaukee’s “Deer District” was a legendary farewell—it was a celebration of love and support from incredible people who’ve shaped our lives and experiences in our hometown, Milwaukee, WI. Having them there to toast and share their well-wishes and advice meant the world to us. In this video, you see our dynamic as we navigated Chicago’s O’Hare Airport for our 9:45pm (8hr) flight to Heathrow Airport in London. Then you’ll see us running through the huge Heathrow airport because we only had an hour to board our flight to our final destination in Athens. Finally, we touched down in Greece and were overwhelmed with excitement! We caught a taxi to drop us off at our residence; not knowing jet-lag was creeping around the corner! We’re excited to bring you along as we navigate our first time traveling abroad together.
